The problem

Everyone is pitching on LinkedIn. Most of it gets ignored.

I hate getting pitched the second I accept a connection.

Your buyers feel the same way. A sales pitch right after the accept tells them the connection was a trick, and they stop reading.

Our account got restricted after we tried an automation tool.

LinkedIn limits how many invitations you can send and restricts accounts that push too hard. Aggressive automation is a fast way to lose the profile you need.

I know LinkedIn matters, but I don't have time to post and message.

Doing LinkedIn well takes steady time every day: research, invites, replies, follow-up. Owners and sales leaders rarely have that time.

We get connections but never turn them into meetings.

A big network is not a pipeline. Without a plan for the second and third message, and a hand-off to phone or email, connections just sit there.

The cost of waiting

LinkedIn has hard limits. Waste them and you wait.

What we do

LinkedIn outreach that fits how buyers use it

Man waving to a client on a laptop video call at home

We treat LinkedIn as one channel in a conversation, not a broadcast tool. The goal is a reply, then a meeting.

01

Account-based targeting

We build lists in Sales Navigator by title, company size, industry and metro, and match them to your CRM so we don't message current clients or open deals.

02

Profile tune-up

Before outreach, we help tidy the profile that sends: a clear headline about who you help, a short about section and a recent post or two. Prospects check it before they reply.

03

Invites with a reason

Short connection notes that reference something real: their market, a shared group, a recent hire or post. No pitch in the invite.

04

Conversation, then meeting

We follow up with useful, short messages and only ask for a meeting once there is interest. Positive replies get a call or email to book.

05

Safe pace, logged in your CRM

We work within LinkedIn's limits and don't run bots on your profile. Conversations and outcomes are logged in HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel or Zoho.

The detail

How it works, in depth

Message playbookA LinkedIn sequence that doesn't feel like a sequence

Here is the shape of the conversation we run for a typical B2B buyer, such as a VP of Operations at a Texas logistics company or the owner of a California marketing agency:

  • Warm-up. View their profile and react to a recent post, if they post. This puts your name in front of them before you ask for anything.
  • Invite. One or two sentences: why you are connecting, without a pitch. "I work with freight brokers in Dallas on their outbound. Would be glad to connect."
  • Thank-you, no ask. After they accept, a short thank-you and one question about their world. "Curious, is hiring drivers or finding shippers the bigger headache this year?"
  • Value. If they reply, answer properly. If not, a few days later share one useful, specific point: a mistake you see often, or a quick benchmark.
  • Soft ask. "Would a 15-minute call to compare notes be useful, or is now a bad time?"
  • Switch channels. No reply after a few touches? We move to email or phone, where your sequence picks up. LinkedIn warmed them up.

Every step is written by a person for a specific segment. We don't send the same paragraph to 500 people.

Rules of the roadLinkedIn limits and how we stay inside them

LinkedIn protects its members with limits that apply to every account, free or Premium.

  • Invitation limits. LinkedIn caps how many connection requests you can send each week. If you hit the cap, you can't send more until the week runs out, and withdrawing old invites doesn't reset it. We plan weekly volume well below the point where accounts get warnings.
  • Acceptance rate. Invites that get ignored or reported as unwanted hurt the account. Better targeting means fewer invites and more accepts.
  • InMail credits. Sales Navigator Core includes 50 InMail credits a month, with a cap on how many roll over, and you get a credit back when an InMail receives a reply within 90 days. We save InMail for high-value contacts who aren't accepting invites.
  • Automation. We don't run bots on your profile. Automated invite and messaging tools put the account at risk, so the work is done by people, inside LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.

The upside of these limits: buyers get fewer junk messages, so a thoughtful note stands out more than it would in email.

FitWhen LinkedIn is the right channel, and when it isn't

LinkedIn works best when your buyers live there: SaaS founders, marketing leaders, IT managers, HR and talent leaders, and senior people at mid-size companies. It is a strong fit for SaaS, staffing agencies and digital marketing agencies.

It works less well for owner-operators who rarely log in, like many commercial cleaning or trade contractor owners. For those buyers, the phone usually wins, and we will tell you so. In most programs, LinkedIn is the warm-up and the phone or email books the meeting.

A quick way to check: search Sales Navigator for your top 50 target accounts and look at the decision makers. If most have recent activity and complete profiles, LinkedIn deserves a place in your outreach. If half have empty profiles or haven't posted in years, put your effort into calls and email and use LinkedIn mainly for research: confirming titles, spotting job changes and finding the right name before you dial.

Job changes are worth watching in any market. A new VP of Operations or a new IT director often reviews vendors in their first months, and LinkedIn is usually where you see the move first.

Questions

What buyers ask us first

Will you log into our LinkedIn account?

We agree on the setup with you first. Often we work from a team member's profile with their approval, or set up a dedicated profile for your sales outreach. We never share logins with third-party bots.

Do you use automation tools?

No bots that scrape or mass-message. They put your account at risk, and buyers can tell. We use Sales Navigator and do the messaging by hand.

Do we need Sales Navigator?

It helps a lot for search filters, lead lists and InMail. For small, tightly defined markets, a regular account can work. We'll recommend what fits your volume.

Will you post content for us?

This service is outreach, not content marketing. We will suggest a profile tune-up and a few simple posts so prospects see an active profile when they check you out.

How many people will you contact a week?

As many as your targeting supports while staying safely within LinkedIn's limits. Quality of the list matters more than raw volume here.

Is LinkedIn worth it if our buyers are small business owners?

Sometimes not. Many owner-operators rarely check LinkedIn. For them we lean on cold calling and use LinkedIn only for research.

How do we see results?

Invites sent, accepted, replies, positive replies and meetings booked appear in your weekly report from the CRM, next to your call and email numbers.
